Somatic Inquiry is a gentle yet powerful approach to exploring the connection between body, mind, and emotions. This practice helps you develop deeper awareness by guiding you to listen closely to the sensations and signals within your body.

Rather than focusing only on thoughts or words, Somatic Inquiry invites you to explore your inner experience through physical sensations, emotions, and patterns held in the body. This process can reveal areas where stress, trauma, or unresolved emotions may be stored, allowing you to better understand your current responses.

By tuning into the body in the present moment, you can begin to release tension, uncover ingrained patterns, and restore a sense of balance and calm. This approach is especially supportive for those experiencing anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, or emotional blocks, as it works on both physical and emotional levels.

Somatic Inquiry offers a pathway to feeling more grounded, fostering meaningful insight, and supporting lasting personal transformation. It is an invitation to reconnect with your body, release tension, and move toward greater ease and well-being.

Somatic Inquiry Steps: 

  1. Name what you want clarity on or support with.

  2. Connect with internal and external resources.

  3. Find stillness.

  4. Ask to be shown “What wants my awareness now?

  5. Find the felt sense and the describe the quality of it. 

  6. Ask the felt sense what it is or what it needs.

  7. Process the shift and then come back to the felt sense: Has the quality changed? Are you getting called somewhere else? 

  8. Once the shift has made a difference and there is a new sensation, take time to embody it.
